LG G7 ThinQ - View Device Screen on TV

Here's how to share your screen or media files with another screen (TV, game console, etc.) using your G7 ThinQ.
  • To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi  network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
  • Some apps (e.g., YouTube™, Netflix®, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the
    Cast icon
     Cast icon then select the desired display from the list.

  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your LG G7 ThinQ™.
  2. Navigate:
    Connected devices
    Screen sharing
    .
  3. Tap the
    Screen sharing switch
     to it turn on or off.
    Once turned on, select a device from the list of compatible displays.
  1. From a Home screen, tap 'Gallery' or 'Music'.
  2. Navigate to the appropriate item and tap to select.
  3. Tap
    Share
    .
  4. Select a device from the list of compatible displays.
    If necessary, tap
    SmartShare
     then select the preferred display.
