Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

If your Galaxy Note9 isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email, here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Do not disturb
    .
  3. Do either of the following:
    • To activate / deactivate immediately, tap the
      Do not disturb switch
       to turn on or off.
    • To manage a 'Do not disturb' schedule, tap the switch to the right of the preferred schedule(s) to turn on or off.
      To create a new schedule, tap
      Add schedule
      .
      To edit an existing schedule, tap the schedule name then configure as desired (e.g., Days, Start time, etc.).
  4. Tap the
    Turn on now switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Tap
    Turn on as scheduled
    .
    If the switch is turned on, perform the following:
    1. Tap the schedule name.
    2. In the Days section, tap the preferred day of week indicators.
    3. Tap
      Start time
      .
    4. Set the start time then tap
      Done
      .
    5. Tap
      End time
      .
    6. Set the end time then tap
      Done
      .
    7. Tap the
      Back icon Back icon
      to return to the 'Do not disturb' screen.
  6. Tap
    Allow exceptions
     then tap any of the following options (e.g., Calls from, Repeat callers, etc.) to configure settings as preferred.
  7. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon to return to the previous screen.
  8. Tap
    Hide notifications
     then tap the preferred notification switch(es) to turn on or off.
