Here's how to select or change ringtones / notification sounds on your Galaxy Note9.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Sounds and vibration
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To set a ringtone:
      Check out this Samsung page for support with a custom ringtone.
      1. Tap
        Ringtone
        .
      2. Select a ringtone then tap the
        Back icon
         Back icon to return to the previous screen.
    • To set a notification sound:
      1. Tap
        Notification sound
        .
      2. Select the preferred notification sound then tap the
        Back icon
         to return to the previous screen.
