Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0) - Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy Tab A (8.0) by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Device care
    Battery
    Power mode
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To turn on, tap 'Medium power saving' or 'Maximum power saving'.
      Configure any of the following settings then tap
      Apply
      :
      • Restrict background data
      • Limit CPU speed
      • Brightness
        Tap the
        Dropdown icon
         Dropdown menu icon then select the preferred setting.
    • To turn off, tap
      Optimized
      .
