Google Pixel 3 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Pixel 3 / 3 XL or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security
    SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  3. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
