Google Pixel 3 - Stop Running Apps

Here's how to stop running apps if they freeze / hang or cause your Pixel 3 / 3 XL to crash, reset or run slowly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    Show system
    .
  5. Tap
    Force stop
    .
  6. Review the notification then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
