Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.5) - Disable / Enable App

Some pre-installed apps on your Galaxy Tab A (10.5) are mainstays that can’t be removed. Disabling an app can prevent it from running, while enabling it can return functionality.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon then tap
    Show system apps
    .
  3. Perform one of the following:
    • Disable Apps
      Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
      1. Tap the preferred app.
      2. Tap
        Disable
         then tap
        Disable App
        .
        If the Disable option isn't available, tap
        Force stop
         then tap
        Force stop
         to confirm.
      3. If prompted to 'replace this app with the factory version', tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • Enable Apps
      1. Tap the
        All dropdown menu
         Dropdown icon then select
        Disabled
        .
      2. Tap the appropriate app then tap
        Turn on
        .
