Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.5) - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

If your Galaxy Tab A (10.5) isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email, here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Do not disturb
    .
  3. Do either of the following:
    • To activate / deactivate immediately, tap the
      Turn on now switch
       to turn on or off.
    • To manage a 'Do not disturb' schedule, tap the 
      Turn on as scheduled switch
       to turn on or off.
  4. Tap
    Allow exceptions
    .
  5. Tap the following to turn on or off:
    • Alarms
    • Media
    • Touch sounds
    • Calendar events
    • Reminders
  6. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon to return to the previous screen.
  7. Tap
    Hide notifications
     then tap the preferred notification setting (e.g., Hide full screen notification, Hide app icon badges, etc.) to turn on or off.
