Here's how to quickly set up your Galaxy Tab A 10.5.

- If powered off, press and hold thePower buttonuntil the Samsung Galaxy Tab A screen appears then release.
- Select the appropriate language then tap theStart icon.
- To continue, review the 'Terms and Conditions' and 'Privacy Policy' then tapNext.In order to continue, you must accept (check) all items.
- To continue, tapNext.If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the on-screen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).If activating a new tablet on an existing phone number, ensure the old device is powered off.
- Select a network, enter the password then tapNext.TapSkipto add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.
- To transfer data (e.g., apps, photos, contacts, etc.) from a previous device, tapNextthen follow the on-screen instructions.If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.If you'd prefer to set your device up as new, tapDon't copy.
- Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one.TapSkipto add a Google account after setup is complete.
- Review the 'Google Assistant' screens then tapNext.
- From the 'Google Services' screen, select any of the following to turn on
or off
then tap
Accept:- Back up to Google Drive
- Use location
- Allow scanning
- Send usage and diagnostic data
- Tap the desired protection option then follow the on screen instructions.
- From the 'Verizon Services' screen, tapAccept.
- Sign in to your existing account or create a new Samsung account.TapSkipto add a Samsung account after setup is complete.
- To complete the Setup Wizard, tapDone.
