Verizon GizmoTablet - Reset App
Here's how to reset apps if your GizmoTablet crashes, resets or freezes.
Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers
- Open theSettings app.
- TapApps.
- Ensure 'All' is selected.If necessary, tap theDropdown icon
then select
All. - Do any of the following:
- Reset Individual AppResetting an app doesn't remove saved items on the device (e.g., texts, pictures, voicemails, etc.); however, saved passwords for Wi-Fi, settings, backgrounds, etc. within the app itself may be reset.
- Locate then select the appropriate app.If system apps aren't visible, tap the.
- TapForce stopthen tapForce stop.
- TapStorage.
- TapClear data.This option may not be available for some apps.Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
- Reset All App PreferencesThis option resets app preferences for disabled apps, notification restrictions for apps, default apps, background data restrictions for apps, and permission restrictions.
- Tap theMenu icon
