Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 8800L - Add a WPS Device

Here's how to add a new Wi-Fi (WPS device) to your MiFi 8800L.
  • WPS must be enabled from the Admin to use WPS.
  • Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) allows new wireless clients (devices) to be added without having to enter any wireless credentials (network name, password/key); the wireless client must support WPS.

  1. From the Home screen, tap
    Menu
    (lower-left).
    If necessary, press the
    Power button
     (top-right edge) to turn on the display.
  2. Tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
    .
  4. Tap 'Primary Network WPS' or 'Guest Network'.
  5. Tap one of the WPS connection options:
    • Use WPS button
    • Enter PIN
  6. Press the
    WPS button
    on the device you wish to connect for at least 2 seconds to start the pairing process.
    If 'Enter PIN' was selected, enter the PIN on the device you wish to connect.
  1. Sign in to theAdmin WebGUI.
    You must be connected to the network to access the admin page.
  2. Click
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Click the Primary Network or Guest Network tab then click the
    WPS checkbox
    to allow or disallow WPS connections.
  4. Follow steps above to connect from the
    Device
