KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 2 - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your DuraForce PRO 2.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Mobile Hotspot & tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Hotspot name
    • Hide my device
    • Security (WPA2-Personal or none)
    • Hotspot password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        OK
        .
    • Broadcast channel (e.g., Auto, 2, 4, etc.)
    • Connected devices
  4. Tap
    Advanced
     then
    Manage devices
     to restrict which devices are allowed to connect.
  5. Tap
    Allow all devices to connect
     to enable or disable.
  6. To add a device:
    1. Tap the
      Add icon +
      .
    2. Enter the name and MAC address then tap
      OK
      .
  7. Tap
    Timeout settings
     then select a preferred option (e.g., Never turns off, 5 minutes, etc).
