Samsung Chromebook Plus - Device Lock

Here's how to lock and unlock your Chromebook Plus.

Lock the Device

  1. To lock the Chromebook, perform either of the following:
    • From the keyboard, press and hold the
      Lock key
       (upper-right) for 2 seconds or longer.
      Lock Key
    • Press and hold the
      Power Button
       then tap or click the
      Lock Screen icon
       Lock screen icon .
      Power Button

Unlock the Device

  1. If necessary, press the
    Power button
     located on the top-edge (left of the volume key) to wake the device.

  2. Enter the password then tap
    Enter
