Samsung SmartThings Tracker - Track Device

Here's how to track your SmartThings Tracker.

This process allows you to switch between satellite view and map view.
  1. Open the SmartThings app SmartThings app.
  2. From the SmartThings Home screen, select your tracker.
  3. Tap
    Satellite icon
     Satellite icon (upper-right) on map to switch view.

This process shows the tracker's travel path throughout the day.
  1. Open the SmartThings app SmartThings app.
  2. From the SmartThings Home screen, select your tracker.
  3. Tap the
    Travel Path icon
     Travel Path (lower-right).

  4. View Tracker's Path.
  • Update the location of your tracker every minute for 10 minutes.
  • Live tracking turns off automatically after 10 minutes.
  1. From your device, tap the
    SmartThings app
     SmartThings app.
  2. From the SmartThings Home screen, tap select your tracker.
  3. Select your SmartThings Tracker device.
  4. Tap the
    Live Tracking icon
     Live Tracking icon (lower-right).

This process shows the current location of your Tracker.
  1. Open the SmartThings app SmartThings app.
  2. From the SmartThings Home screen, select your tracker device.
  3. Tap

View the tracker's path by date.
  1. Open the SmartThings app SmartThings app.
  2. From the SmartThings Home screen, select your tracker.
  3. Tap on the
    Date drop down
     (upper-left).
    Select a Date
  4. Select the preferred date.
