Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your Pixel 3a / 3a XL.
Add a Personal Email
- From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
- Navigate:.SettingsAccountsAdd Account
- Enter the Email address then tapNEXT.Depending upon the email account type, the available options may vary.
- Enter the Password then tapNEXT.
- If presented with Terms and Conditions or a Privacy statement, review then tapYesto continue.
- If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., Username, Password, Security type, etc.) then tapNEXT.If presented, tapAdvancedto ensure the certificate is valid then tapPROCEED ANYWAYto continue.
- If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, Port, Security type, etc.) then tapNEXT.If presented, tapAdvancedto ensure the certificate is valid then tapPROCEED ANYWAYto continue.
- Configure Account options as appropriate then tapNEXT.
- Enter an account name if desired then tapNEXT.If presented, ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages.
Add a Corporate Email Accoun
Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
- From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
- Navigate:.SettingsAccountsAdd Account
- TapExchange (for corporate email accounts).Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
- Enter your corporate email address then tapNext(lower-right).If set up is unsuccessful, tapManual setup.
- Enter your password then tapNext(lower-right).
- If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for additional support on:
- Email address
- Server address
- Domain
- Port number
- Username
- Password
- Activate device administrationApplies corporate security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
- Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
- TapDone(lower-right).
