Lenovo tab 4 8 PLUS - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your tab 4 8 PLUS in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. Tap
    OK
     to confirm.
    This process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
