Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your moto g7 power.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Unlock with your fingerprint' screen, review the info then tap
        Set Up
         (at the bottom).
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         (back of device) until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete
      3. Tap
        Done
         (at the bottom).
    • Add More Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Trash can icon located to the right of the fingerprint you want to remove.
      2. To confirm, tap
        Yes, remove
