Google Pixel 3a - Perform a Gmail Sync

Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your Pixel 3a / 3a XL to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap the account name (email address).
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the applicable data sync options (e.g., Sync Contacts, Sync Gmail, Sync Calendar, etc.) to turn on or off.
  6. Tap the
    Menu icon
     3-dot Menu icon.
  7. Tap
    Sync now
     to perform a manual sync.
