Sonim XP8 - Manage DTMF Tones

If you're calling into an automated system (e.g., Voicemail) from your Sonim XP8 and your dialpad entries aren't recognized, view this info.
Dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones on your Sonim XP8® are used by automated dial-in systems such as voicemail or where prompts are used to navigate.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If not available, swipe up to access all apps then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap
    Settings
    .
  4. Tap
    Sounds and vibration
     then tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. Tap
    Dial pad touch switch
     on Switch on or off Switch off.
