Sonim XP8 - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Sonim XP8.
If you need to manage emergency alerts (e.g., Extreme Alerts, AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Sonim XP8® , follow these step-by-step instructions.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Network & Internet
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced
     then tap
    Wireless Emergency alerts
    .
  4. Tap any of the following to turn on on switch or off off switch :
    • Amber alerts
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • Public safety messages
    • State and local test
    • Additional Language Alert
  5. Tap
    Alert Reminder sound
     then select one of the following:
    • Once
    • Every 2 minutes
    • Every 15 minutes
    • Off
