Sonim XP8 - Uninstall Apps

Here's how to remove or delete apps if your Sonim XP8 is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.
  • Apps included with the Android™ operating system on your Sonim XP8® may not have an uninstall option.
    Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled (disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction).
  • If uninstalling an app update, ensure auto-update is disabled for the specified app until the issue is resolved with the developer.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: 
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    SEE ALL XX APPS
    .
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
  5. Tap
    UNINSTALL
    .
    To uninstall updates, tap the 
    Menu icon
     (upper-right) then tap
    Uninstall Updates
    .
  6. From the Uninstall app prompt, tap
    OK
    .
