Sonim XP8 - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Sonim XP8.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Scan your fingerprint' screen, follow on-screen instructions to register fingerprint (as shown in the on-screen tutorial).
      2. From the Fingerprint added screen tap
        Done
        .
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 4 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Place your finger on the sensor until it vibrates then lift.
      3. From the Fingerprint added screen tap
        DONE
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Select the fingerprint to remove.
      2. Tap the
        Trashcan icon
         Trashcan icon then tap
        YES, REMOVE
        to confirm.
