Turn Assisted Dialing On / Off - Alcatel / TCL

Here's how to turn assisted dialing for your Alcatel / TCL smartphone on or off.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of a Home screen then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. From the "Recent calls" tab, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then navigate:
    Settings
    Call Settings
    Assisted Dialing
    .
    For TCL devices, navigate:
    Settings
    Calls
    Assisted Dialing
    .
  3. Tap the
    Assisted dialing checkbox
     to turn on or off.
    Powering the phone off and back on is recommended after changes are made.
