Alcatel Avalon - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Avalon.
  1. From a Home screen on your Alcatel Avalon™, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  2. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on Switch on.
  3. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an available Wi-Fi network
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. If prompted, enter the appropriate password then tap
        CONNECT
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap
        Show password
        .
    • Manually connect to a Wi-Fi network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the 'Network name (SSID)' field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. From the 'Security' field, tap the
        Dropdown menu
         Dropdown menu icon then select the appropriate option (e.g. None, WEP, WPA/WPA2 PSK, etc.).
      4. From the 'Password' field, enter the appropriate password.
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap
        Show password
        .
      5. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        SAVE
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi connection
      1. Tap the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        FORGET
        .
