Sonim XP5s® - Turn Wi-Fi Calling On / Off

When turned on, Wi-Fi Calling may improve indoor call quality for your Sonim XP5s.
  1. To use Wi-Fi Calling, ensure Wi-Fi is turned on and connected.
  2. Press the
    Apps tray button
     Apps button.
  3. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Advanced Calling
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  4. Select
    Wi-Fi Calling
    .
  5. Select the
    Wi-Fi Calling switch
     to turn on switch off or off switch off.
    If prompted, select
    Activate Wi-Fi Calling
    , review and accept the Terms & Conditions, select
    CONTINUE
    , enter a valid E911 address then select
    SAVE
    .
  • To select your calling preference while traveling outside the Verizon wireless coverage area or internationally, ensure Wi-Fi calling is turned on, select
    When Roaming
    , select 'Prefer Other Cellular Networks' or 'Prefer Wi-Fi' then restart the device.
