Samsung Galaxy A50 - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Galaxy A50.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.

  1. If activating a new phone and your previous phone can be powered on, ensure your device is backed up using one of the following recommended methods:

     until the Samsung Galaxy A50 screen appears then release.

  3. Select the appropriate language then tap

     (lower-right).
    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

  6. From the 'Set up Wi-Fi' screen, select a network then enter the password.
