Here's how to view, add and remove Home screen panel for your moto z4.
From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
Follow the steps below to add or remove panels. The default Home panel appears when the Home icon Home icon is pressed and can't be changed.

Add Panel

The panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Touch and hold an app then drag up and to the right.
    A new panel is automatically created when an app is placed on it.

Remove Panel

  1. From the appropriate panel, touch and hold an item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to 'Remove' X icon (at the top) then release.
    Repeat these steps for all items on the panel.
    The panel is removed once all items on it are removed.
