moto z4 - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

Here's how to factory hard / reset your moto z4 if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur.

Perform a factory data reset only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.

Music, pictures and videos can be backed up to a computer.

Personal data (e.g., Wi-Fi passwords, browser bookmarks, etc.) can be backed up to Google's servers.

An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

Erase all data (factory reset)

If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.

Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
