Nokia 3 V - Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Nokia 3 V makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag the shortcut onto the desired Home screen then release.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Shortcuts
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget onto the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending on the type of widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the
      Title bar
       at the top of the open folder.
    3. Enter a name then tap
      OK
      .
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the item onto 'Remove' X icon at the top of the screen then release.

Set Wallpaper

  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Select a folder (e.g., My photos, On-device wallpapers, Live Wallpapers, etc.).
  4. Locate then tap the preferred picture.
  5. Tap
    SET WALLPAPER
    .
  6. Select one of the following:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Both
