Orbic Software Update

Get the latest software for your Orbic device when over-the-air updates fail. Use the Software Upgrade Assistant (SUA) on your computer to install essential updates.

Before you begin

The Software Repair process is identical for Windows and Macintosh.
The Software Upgrade Assistant (SUA) must be installed on a compatible computer.
The software upgrade process may take up to 30-35 minutes. Don't disconnect the device from the computer or power off the device until the update completes.
The most recent software version becomes available on the SUA/SRA tool within a week of a new software update. During this time, the SUA/SRA is unavailable for usage.
If the update fails to install, refer to the Software Repair Assistant for further assistance.

Steps

  1. Ensure your device is powered on and connected to a computer using the supplied USB cable then click
    Next
    .
    The Software Upgrade Assistant automatically searches for updates for your device.
  2. From the Ready to Start? screen, click
    Start update
    .
    The software upgrade begins once the software upgrade package is downloaded; a status bar displays the progress of the download and upgrade.
  3. Once complete, click
    Finish
    .
