Set Up Digital Footprint Manager

Digital Footprint Manager monitors the data you choose (e.g., Accounts, Personal info) to keep you safe. Get alerts if your info is found on the dark web and get expert help.

Before you begin

The paid premium version of Digital Secure is needed to subscribe to Identity Protection.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Verizon Protect app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Services
    Digital Footprint Manager
    .
  3. Do the following:
    • For first time use and to confirm your email address:
      1. Click
        Add data
         to monitor and select the email address.
      2. Enter your email address then click
        Save
      3. An email confirmation link is sent to the email address. Select the confirmation link to verify your email address.
    • To add personal data:
      1. Tap
        Add data to monitor
         then follow the on-screen prompts to enter the necessary info (email address, date of birth, Social Security Number, etc.).
        Steps vary based on the info being entered.
      2. Once entered, tap
        Save
        .
    • If notified of a data breach:
      1. Tap the alert to review the steps you can take.
      2. If help is needed, tap Call a specialist or Chat with an expert.
