Samsung Galaxy Watch - Add an Existing Google Account
Adding a Gmail™ (Google™) account to your Galaxy Watch lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.
- The email feature is not supported on watches while:
- connected to an Apple® iPhone® or non-Samsung Android™ smartphone.
- set up as a standalone device.
- Email accounts are managed through the Galaxy Wearable app, not from the watch.
- To perform the steps below, you will need to:
- ensure the desired email has been set up in the Samsung Email app on your Android smartphone.Refer to How to add an email account to your Samsung mobile device for assistance.
- ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on both the watch and smartphone.
- keep the watch near your smartphone throughout the entire process.
- On your smartphone, tap theGalaxy Wearable app
.
- TapApps.
- Tap theEmail Settings icon
then do one of the following:
- If no email account has been linked, tapEmail accounts.
- If an email account has previously been linked, tapAdd account.
- If prompted, tapAllowfor applicable permissions.
- Enter the email address then follow the on-screen steps to add the account (e.g., enter the password, accept permissions, etc.) then tapSign inif prompted.
