Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Customize Your Home Screen
Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Note10 makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets(at the bottom).
- Tap the appropriate app.
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen location then release.For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space on the screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
- Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) then release.
- Enter a name for the folder then tap theBack icon
to return to the Home screen.
A folder containing the shortcuts is created. To rename a folder:To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.- Tap a folder.
- Tap the current folder name.
- Enter the new name then tapDone.
- To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
- Tap the applicable option:
- Select items
- Remove from Home
- Uninstall
- App info
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
- TapWallpapers.
- From the 'My wallpapers' section, tapView all.
- Perform one of the following:
- To use an existing wallpaper image:
- Select a wallpaper image from the list.
- Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
- TapSet as wallpaper.
- To use an image from your gallery:
- TapFrom Gallery.If prompted, review the location information message then tapAllow.
- Locate then select the preferred picture.
- Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
- TapSet as wallpaper.
