Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Note10 makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    (at the bottom).
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Touch and hold a widget.
  5. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen location then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space on the screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) then release.
  3. Enter a name for the folder then tap the
    Back icon
    Back icon to return to the Home screen.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created. To rename a folder:
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
    1. Tap a folder.
    2. Tap the current folder name.
    3. Enter the new name then tap
      Done

  4. To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
  2. Tap the applicable option:
    • Select items
    • Remove from Home
    • Uninstall
    • App info
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. From the 'My wallpapers' section, tap
    View all
    .
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      2. Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
      3. Tap
        Set as wallpaper
        .
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        From Gallery
        .
        If prompted, review the location information message then tap
        Allow
        .
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture.
      3. Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
      4. Tap
        Set as wallpaper
