Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Biometrics and security
    .
  3. From the Biometrics section, tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Fingerprints' screen, review the info then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. Press the
        Fingerprint sensor
        , follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
        Fingerprint Sensor
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
      4. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add Fingerprint
        .
        Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Press the
        Fingerprint sensor
        , follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap (check) the fingerprint to remove.
        To select all, touch and hold a fingerprint until selected then tap
        All
         (upper-left).
      2. Tap
        Remove
        (upper-right).
      3. To confirm, review the info then tap
        Remove
        .
