Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Galaxy Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Advanced settings
    Wireless emergency alerts
    .
  3. Tap
    Allow alerts
     to turn on or off.
  4. When turned on, select any of the following:
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety messages
    • State and local tests
  5. From the Alert preferences section, configure the following:
    • Vibration
    • Alert reminder
    • Spanish
    • Speak alert message
