Disable the Digital Secure app

If your device doesn't give you the option to uninstall Digital Secure, follow these quick steps to disable the app and keep it completely inactive.

Before you begin

The below steps are only applicable to Android™ devices.

Steps

  1. From a Home screen do one of the following:
    • Navigate:
      Settings
      Apps
      .
    • Navigate:
      Settings
      Apps and notifications
      App info
      .
  2. Locate then tap the
    Digital Secure app
    .
    If necessary, tap
    See all apps
    .
  3. View the version number at the bottom. If any of the version numbers listed below are installed, proceed to disable the app. If the versions listed are not installed, then no action is needed.
    • 6.11.0.808
    • 6.11.0.805
    • 6.11.0.568
    • 6.11.0.550
  4. Tap
    Disable
    .
  5. If prompted, tap
    Yes
     or
    Disable app
     to confirm.
  6. To uninstall updates, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Uninstall updates
    .
