ZTE Blade Vantage 2 - Customize Your Home Screen

Here's how to add / remove Home screen items (widgets, apps or folders) and set the wallpaper on your Blade Vantage 2.
To customize the Home screen on your ZTE Blade Vantage 2, do any of the following:
  • Add Apps
  • Add Widgets
  • Add / Remove Folders
  • Remove Apps / Widgets
  • Set Wallpaper

A shortcut to an individual contact or bookmark can only be added to a Home screen via a
widget
.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.
Widgets are mini-apps (e.g., weather, clock, calendar, etc.) that can be added to a Home screen. They aren't the same as shortcuts as they generally display info and take up more space than a single icon.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    WIDGETS
    (at the bottom).
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut to 'Folder' (upper-left) then release.
    A folder containing the shortcut is created with the default name 'Folder'.
    • To rename the folder:
      1. Tap the folder name (at the bottom).
      2. Touch and hold another shortcut then drag it onto the folder.
      3. When the folder window appears, release the icon.
    • To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.).
  2. Tap
    Remove
    (upper-left of popup window).
  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    WALLPAPERS
    (lower-left).
  3. Tap 'My photos' (lower-left) or select a wallpaper (at the bottom).
  4. If 'My photos' is selected, locate then tap the preferred picture.
  5. Tap 'HOME' or 'LOCK'.
  6. Tap
    SET WALLPAPER
    (upper-right).
