Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 - Turn Data On / Off

Turning data on your Galaxy Watch Active2 provides access to online services over the cellular network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.
From your Android™ smartphone or Apple® iPhone®, ensure your Galaxy Watch Active2 software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Home button
    to open the apps screen.
    Press and hold the Power button
  2. Open the
    Settings app
     Settings icon.
  3. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile networks
    .
  4. Do any of the following:
    • Turn Data On / Off
      1. Tap
        Mobile data
         to turn on or off.
        Gear network must be set to 'Always on' for this setting to be accessible.
    • Allow / Deny Data Roaming
      Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally ).
      1. Tap
        Data roaming
         to turn on or off.
      2. If prompted, review the disclaimer then tap the
        checkmark icon
         to confirm.
