Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Galaxy Tab S6.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
To activate this device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 screen appears then release.

  2. From the 'Welcome' screen, select the appropriate language then tap

    .

  3. From the 'For your review' screen, select (check) the following then tap

  4. From the 'Tablet Activation' screen, tap

    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new tablet on an existing phone number, ensure the old device is powered off.

  5. From the 'Set up Wi-Fi' screen, select a network, enter the password, then tap

  6. From the 'Copy apps & data' screen, tap

     then follow the on-screen options.

  7. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one, then tap

  8. From the 'Google services' screen, select any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap

    If necessary, tap

     to review additional services.

  9. From the 'Protect your tablet' screen, tap an option and follow the prompts.
