Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your moto g7 play to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secured remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & Internet
    Advanced
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add icon.
    If presented, tap
    Set lock
     as a screen lock must be set in order to proceed.
  4. Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and other necessary credentials:
    • Name
    • Type
    • Server Address
    • Username
    • Password
    • If applicable, tap
      Show advanced options
       to configure the following:
      The available options vary depending upon the selected VPN type.
      • DNS search domains
      • DNS servers
      • Forwarding routes
