Here's how to adjust sync settings for email and app notifications on your moto g7 play.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Automatically sync app data switch
     to turn on or off.
    Turning off auto sync stops accounts from automatically refreshing your data and delivering notifications.
  4. Select the appropriate account or email address.
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  5. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  6. Turn the sync settings on or off as applicable.
    The settings presented vary depending on the account type.
    To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
       Menu icon.
    2. Tap
      Sync now
