Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Galaxy Tab S6.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Configure
    .
  4. From the Configure Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as preferred:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Band (2.4 GHZ or 5 GHz)
  5. Tap
    Save
    .
  6. Tap
    Advanced
     then tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
    .
  7. Select the preferred option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 mins, 10 mins, etc.).
