Here's how to view, add and remove Home screen panels for your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.

The panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.

From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels.

By default, there is 1 Home screen panel and 1 Google Search panel to the left of the Home screen panel.

If necessary, do any of the following:

To add Home Screen Panels:

From a Home screen or the apps screen, touch and hold an icon (e.g., Play Books, Chrome, etc.) until the screen shrinks and multiple screens populate representing the existing Home screen panels.

If necessary, from a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.

Drag the icon to the right until a new Home screen appears then release.

To remove Home Screen Panels, remove all icons from the unwanted panel.
