Google Pixel 4 - Manage Data Usage
Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.
- Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
- To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
- Open theSettings app.
- TapNetwork and internet.
- Do any of the following:If using both physical SIM and eSIM, select the network name (ie, Verizon, eSIM, etc.).
- Change Data Usage Cycle:
- Tap.
- TapMobile data usage cycle, select the Usage cycle reset date then tapSet.Refer to your statement for the billing cycle date.
- Set Mobile Data Warning:A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.
- Tap.
- TapSet data warningto turn on.
- TapData warning.
- Enter the preferred warning limit then tapSet.
- Set Mobile Data Limit:Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
- Tap.
- TapSet data limitto turn on.If presented with a 'Limiting data usage' screen, review the message then tapOK.
- TapData limit.
- Enter the preferred data usage limit then tapSet.
- Turn Data Saver On / Off:
- TapData Saver.
- Tap theUse Data Saver switchto turn on or off.
