Turn App Permissions On / Off

Apps installed on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap
    See all apps
     then select an app.
  4. Tap
    Permissions
    .
  5. Tap the applicable permission type to modify (e.g., Body Sensors, Microphone, Location, etc.).
  6. From the selected permission, tap any of the available apps (e.g., Google Play Services, My Verizon, etc.) then select Allow or Don't allow.
  7. If selecting 'Don't allow', from the 'If you deny this permission...' prompt, tap
    Cancel
     or
    Don't allow anyway
