Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your razr.
Email accounts added to the phone are accessed from the Gmail app.

Add a Personal Email Account

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add Account
     Add icon.
  4. Tap 'Personal (IMAP)' or 'Personal (POP3)'.
    Account type selection depends on email account configuration; check with your email provider if necessary.
  5. Enter the email address then tap
    NEXT
    .
    Depending upon the email account type, the available options may vary.
  6. Enter the Password then tap
    NEXT
    .
  7. If presented with Terms & Conditions or a Privacy statement, review then tap
    Yes
     to continue.
  8. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., Username, Password, Security type, etc.) then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, tap
    Advanced
     to ensure the certificate is valid then tap
    PROCEED ANYWAY
     to continue.
  9. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, Port, Security type, etc.) then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, tap
    Advanced
     to ensure the certificate is valid then tap
    PROCEED ANYWAY
     to continue.
  10. Configure Account options as preferred then tap
    NEXT
    .
  11. Enter an account name if desired then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages.

Add a Corporate Email Account

Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add Account
     Add icon.
  4. Tap
    Exchange
    .
  5. Enter your corporate email address then tap
    Next
     (lower-right).
  6. Enter your password then tap
    Next
    .
    If automatic setup is unsuccessful, you can set it up manually.
  7. If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for additional support on:
    • Email address
    • Server address
    • Domain
    • Port number
    • Username
    • Password
    • Activate device administration
      Applies corporate security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
      Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
    • Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
