Motorola Devices
Download and Activate an eSIM

With an eSIM, your phone number and plan are installed digitally onto your Motorola phone instead of using a physical SIM card. Downloading an eSIM profile is the first step in getting connected to the Verizon network.

Before you begin

To check if your device is eSIM (embedded SIM) capable, navigate:
Settings
About Phone
Device details
to view or add an eSIM.
Make sure you are using a Verizon-branded or unlocked device. Non-Verizon (BYOD) Prepaid devices don’t support eSIM activation.
Ensure your device is running the most current software and that you’re connected to the Verizon network or Wi-Fi.
If traveling abroad, activate your eSIM prior to your trip, as it requires the Verizon coverage to complete setup.
