Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G / Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G - Turn GPS Location On / Off

GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Galaxy S20+ 5G / Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.
Satellite or standalone GPS services use more power and have a greater effect on battery life.
  1. Tap
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
    If presented, review the Location consent disclaimer then tap
    Agree
    .
  4. If preferred, tap
    Improve accuracy
     then tap 'Wi-Fi scanning' or 'Bluetooth scanning' to turn on or off.
