Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch) - Adjust Account Sync Settings

If you're not receiving email and app notifications, here's how to view sync settings on your Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch).
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Auto sync data switch
     to turn on or off.
    Turning off auto sync will stop the accounts from automatically refreshing your data and delivering notifications.
  4. Tap an account or email address (e.g., Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  5. Tap
    Sync account
    .
  6. Tap the switch for individual items (e.g., Contacts, Calendar, Email, etc.) to turn on or off.
    The items presented vary depending upon account type.
    To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
       Menu icon.
    2. Tap
      Sync now
