Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch) - View / Manage Home Screen Panels

Here's how to view / add / remove panels and set a default Home screen panel for your Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch).
From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate to the extended Home screen panels.

Add Panels

Home screen panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Swipe left to the add panel screen (screen with a plus Plus icon symbol) then tap the screen.

Remove Panels

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Swipe to the preferred panel.
  3. Tap the
    Trashcan icon
     Trash can icon (top-center of the panel you want to remove).
    If items are present on the panel you are deleting, tap
    Delete
    to remove the panel and all items on it.

Set Default Panel

The default panel appears when the Home button is pressed.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Swipe to the preferred panel.
  3. Tap the
    Default Home icon
     Home icon (top-center).
